Touchpoint Therapies is a one-person practice. I am Allen Ernst, a massage therapist licensed in the State of Maryland, working out of Havre de Grace. When you contact me, book a session, or fill in an intake form, your information comes to me. Nobody else is reading it.
The short version. I collect what I need to answer your question, come to your house, and work on your body safely. I do not sell it, I do not trade it, and I do not add you to a mailing list because you asked me a question. Your health information stays out of anything to do with marketing.
Your name, your email address, your town, your message, and your phone number if you choose to give it. I ask for your town because this is a mobile practice and where you are decides whether I can legally come to you. I use all of it to reply to you and, if we go further, to schedule and prepare for a session.
Booking runs through Calendly, which collects your name, email, phone number, and the address where the session will happen, along with anything you type into the notes. Calendly processes that on my behalf and I receive it. I need the address because the appointment happens there.
This is the sensitive one, so I want to be specific. The intake form asks about your health history, current conditions, medications, allergies, injuries, surgeries, what hurts, and what you have already tried. I ask because some conditions change what is safe to do, and because a session built on real information is a better session.
That information is stored in my business Google Workspace account, separately from anything to do with the website or advertising. It is never used for marketing, never fed to an advertising platform, and never shared with anyone unless you ask me in writing to send it somewhere, or a court orders it. If you are uncomfortable answering something on the form, leave it blank and tell me in person instead.
Analytics and advertising tools record things like which pages you looked at, which buttons you clicked, roughly where in the world you are, and which ad or link brought you here. That is aggregate behaviour, not a file with your name on it. It exists because I pay for advertising and need to know whether it works.
I am one person, so I rely on other companies to run parts of this. Each of them has its own privacy policy, and each sees only the slice it needs:
Client treatment records, including intake forms and session notes, are kept for as long as Maryland requires a licensed massage therapist to retain them. Enquiries that never became appointments get deleted once it is clear nothing is happening. Analytics data expires on the schedule set inside Google Analytics.

You can also block analytics and advertising cookies in your browser, or use Google’s own opt-out tools. The site works fine either way; I simply learn less about which pages were useful.
This site sets cookies for analytics and for advertising measurement. There is no advertising network following you around the internet from here, and no cookie is required to read a page or send me a message.
This website is not directed at children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect their information through it. Minors are treated in person only with a parent or guardian involved.
I will change the date at the top. If a change actually affects how I handle health information, I will tell current clients directly rather than relying on you to re-read a web page.
